The difference between Gods and Monsters is the ability to create.
I prefer simplified horror, the intricate and complex aspects of a monster under the bed and boogeyman in the closet. I am not in need for special detail to how the monster got through the closet or what second generation revenge plot the bogeyman is brewing in his rage filled mind. Just the manifestation of evil and solidified presence of material nightmares is what interests me. I have always been a horror fan ever since I was young when my uncle let me watch A Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, but when I got older I unfortunately decided to peruse other career paths even though special effects and the creation of monsters was my original true passion. Trying to build a struggling career now in my early 30’s I have taken up my love for horror once again giving my insight of my favorite movies, books and television series as well as my opinion of up coming movies planned and genre topics. I leave you off with the Grandfather of Horror Mr. Howard Phillips Lovecraft “The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear. And the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.”
